This is the class I taught last Thursday. As with all of our classes we like to give them a name but no detail so that those who take the class have a complete surprise. It is a formula we have used sine we opened and to date it has worked very well.
I loved working on this project and have made several more since the class, all with different themes. I hope you like it.
We now have a good supply of the hangers in a variety of sizes, and clips, in the shop. You can find them here.
and with great style too. Karens actual birthday is tomorrow but we always have a special class on the Saturday nearest to her birthday and this one was (I am told because I am still at home with a bad cold) very special.
This photo was taken at the beginning of the class:
And this is some of the lovely book which Karen taught this morning.
And then I managed to get to the shop for an hour to give Karen her cake. (Thanks Wendy for the singing cake slice). Everyone had a great laugh.
And the million dollar question is "What are they looking at???"
I think it was the scrummy food.
Then they have had Pin the tail on the donkey and pass the parcel. (excuse the blurred photos - I didn't take them - honest). It looks like Sue fell in love with the bandana.
I know Karen would want me to thank all of her friends who made this day so very special. She has had a great day. Thank you.
A bit of a change today and inspiration from karen made especially as one of the layouts for our recent evening classes. The papers are by My Minds Eye and are from the Brilliant Range. These are available in the shop now.
Watch out for pictures of Karens Birthday Bash tomorrow.
We had a great time out tonight at the Vagina Monologues, Central Theatre in Chatham. We were lucky enough to have Tina Gambe, Sue Holderness and Sally Lindsey starring and we all had a good laugh.
I tried to take some photos on the old camera but these are the best I could get. Thanks for the company ladies and thanks to Anita for arranging it.
I don't think that Karen will ever be quite the same again..........
We have some lovely layouts from Morag this time and I will be showing them all over the next week as well as some classroom updates and some customer projects.
